PRO BIKE TOOL AMBASSADOR UK
I love cycling and sports in general, and pushing myself and constantly improving is what I strive for daily. If I’m having a bad day, sport offers me relief by getting me into a bubble where I can escape from stresses. Also, cycling is my favourite way of travelling and exploring the world. It gives you a completely different perspective about everything and lets you really enjoy the moment and everything around you.
The main goal for 2019 is to establish myself within the competitive Age Groupers field at Ironman 70.3 circuit and step up into Ironman distance with the initial goal of enjoying my first Ironman in 5 years since I started in triathlon. But I also have my eyes on the prize of Ironman Hawaii in the mid-term. Most important, I want to keep on the path of loving every single day of training more than I’ve ever done before. Which means that I would do it even if there were no races ahead in the calendar. To feed that passion and that inner fire is what drives me more and I do believe that results will come on their own with consistent work.
In terms of racing, my first two goals of the year are Ironman 70.3 Marbella, where I’ll go for a PB and hopefully it will be enough to qualify for the 70.3 Worlds to be held in Nice at the end of this year. If it doesn’t happen, that’s fine, as Marbella is a step towards my main goal of the season, Ironman Lanzarote.
