REPAIR A HOLE IN SECONDSIf you run tubeless, you really need this! It’s a simple idea if your tire is leaking air, ‘ram’ a rubberised rope plug in the hole from the outside, re-inflate the tire with a bike pump or CO2 inflator. JOB DONE!

BIKE TYRE REPAIR KIT
Does the kit work with both road and off-road tyres?Sure does! We provide two thicknesses of strip, the brown / red ones (known as bacon strips or anchovies) are for road tyres, while the chunky black strips are for off-road.
Can I use these on normal clinchers?The kits will only work with a tubeless set up. A tyre with a punctured tube inside it cannot be fixed by plugging a gash in the tyre. If you plug a hole in the tyre air will continue to leak out of the damaged tube inside and so your tyre will still be flat.
Do I need to replace the tyre when home?This differs on a case by case basis. If you only had a small hole in the tyre, just leave the plug in the tyre after your ride, and when you’re home make sure it’s at your optimal pressure. If you used a CO2 inflator to re-inflate your tyre after the puncture, make sure you refill the tyre with air from a pump, as CO2 gas can dissipate out of a tyre over time. If you had a large gash or hole in the tyre, it’s generally best to replace it altogether. The plug you made with the kit may have lasted you to get home, but it could loosen inside a large hole over time – so in this case, it’s better to be safe than sorry and install a new tyre.
Do I still need to carry a spare tube when I ride?We advise you to always carry a spare inner tube. If the damage done to your tyre is extensive, the strips will not be thick enough to plug the gap
Does it fix all holes / gashes?Unfortunately not. If the tyre is extensively damaged, with a large hole or gash, the strips may not be thick enough to plug the damage and air may continue to leak out. We always recommend you carry a spare tube for these situations.
Should I trim the bits of the plug that stick out of the tyre?No need! When you plug your tyre, you should insert enough of the repair strip into the hole or gash so that only a few millimetres are left sticking out of the tyre. These tiny exposed parts will flatten as you ride. If you do have a large amount of the repair strip still sticking out of the tyre after plugging the damage, we advise you try to stuff more into the gap – this provides a closer, more reliable seal.
