WHERE IS THE HOSE?The hose is stored within the pump itself. You can access this by popping open the cap at the handle end of the pump and pulling out the hose within. You then screw the relevant end of the hose into the opposite end of the pump (also under the rubber dust cap), you're then ready to go.
HOW DO YOU INSTALL THE PUMP BRACKET ONTO THE FRAME?The frame of your bicycle will need pre-drilled holes in the frame, and there should be bolts screwed into these holes. To install the bracket, ensure the threads on the mounting bolts are clean of debris, paint and metal chips, you may also want to apply a thin film of grease on them. You then line up the bracket with the holes, and hand tighten the bolts using a screwdriver or Allen key, whichever is relevant. Be careful not to cross thread the bolts!
DO THE PUMPS WORK WITH VALVES WITH REMOVABLE CORES?Yes, however you will need to ensure that the removable element is fully screwed into the valve so that it does not twist and come loose when you screw the pump hose onto the valve. You can use a Valve Core tool or a pair of pliers, being very careful not to damage your valve. If this does not work, you could also consider applying some Loctite on the core of your valve.
WHAT SORT OF PRESSURE CAN THE PUMP REACH?The Pump has been factory tested to reach 120 psi, however, this would take a lot of effort. Once you create the full seal between the pump and valve, the pump can comfortably reach 80-100psi. We recommend using this pump as an emergency valve only, once you get home, you should use a floor pump to reach the kind of pressures you are used to riding.
